Software/Machine Learning Engineer Intern

NOMA AI Inc. is looking for software engineering interns to participate in developing cutting-edge machine learning and data analytic solutions in healthcare. The internship positions will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of software engineering and machine learning problems. The successful applicant will work alongside the team on the development, evaluation, and deployment of machine learning methodologies for real-time clinical decision systems, or lead the development of interesting software solutions. 

 

  • Work across the full stack, building highly scalable distributed solutions that enable positive user experiences and measurable business growth
  • Achieving long-term and ambitious product development goals while identifying intermediate milestones
  • Being independent problem solvers while operating in a collaborative environment

 

Qualifications


  • Pursuing a Ph.D., Masters or Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or engineering
  • 2+ years of experience in software engineering or 1+ experience in machine learning research for machine learning projects


Preferred Qualification


  • Experience in research and development in human-computer interaction or other similar UI/UX design and research aiming to develop user-friendly interfaces for communication of complex data in an easily understandable way (Machine Learning)
  • Experience building web applications
  • Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of Python, React, and Javascript or other similar frameworks in other programming languages
  • Experience working with databases
